a fab restaurant...
...probably for a special occasion given the huuuuge cost, but i went to reflets par pierre gagnaire last night at the intercon festival city, and it was completely amazing...better than verre overall, i reckon...
food and service was great...it's worth going for the array of amuse bouches alone...presented with great theatrical flourish... the place itself is quite kitsch but i liked it, loads of purple chandeliers, mirrors and candles and the like...i didn't think i'd rate it as much as i did, cos i wasn't a big fan of sketch in london... mind you, it's a bit odd having a 360 degree view of yourself on the loo, but i just closed my eyes, lol... we went for a couple in the new champagne bar first...great view, but it was quiet, i guess it will get busier as people hear about it... MM, xx |
