Re: Euro 2012
I enjoyed Eng-v-Fra well enough - two teams playing with intelligence under intelligent new coaches.......
Nobody with pace running at France and putting them under pressure though - Walcott is ideal, but was brought on too late to make a difference.
Downing could have done it a couple of years ago but he seems to have lost whatever it was he had completely.
That Optastats jobby says the ball was touched 999 times in the 90 minutes - leading the way: Glen Johnson with 72 touches...........

Re: Euro 2012
So, after WillyHill paid me out for correctly predicting last nights two match results, who's got a bit to say about the following tonight;
Denmark v Portugal
Netherlands v Germany
Predicitons, go.

Re: Euro 2012
But they couldn't manage a single attempt on goal during the entire 90 minutes of a game they played at Eastlands recently, so I'm not sure how that can be a benefit. As for your boasting about Euro 2012 predictions, people will only be impressed if you post the predictions in advance of the results.

The play together for 30+ games a season, competitively. They train together the whole season 4/5 days a week. That's definitely better than lumping Welbeck and Carroll together for 30 days and expecting them to gel.
Boasting? I put 2 quid on it and won about 19. It's hardly ****ing boasting.
Get out the wrong side of bed or something?

Not fancying a Denmark result?
I'm thinking they'll get a draw with Portugal potentially.
Netherlands have to win to stay in it, but can't see Germany rolling over, I think the Germans have a good all round team whereas the Dutch defence is pretty average at best. German win.

I predict I'll fall asleep during both matches though the odds you'll get on that are slim, I've done it in every game so far
it's all been a bit dull hasn't it ?
the fixtures for the proper football are out on Monday and we can get excited again

The way the tournament is going so far, expect wins for Portugal and Holland.
