E-Vape

Re: E-Vape
i have 3 batteries - all slimline. Easy to put in hand and take a drag when in a restaurant or some place where you are not allowed to smoke. The batteries can connect up to my samsung chargers which are scattered everywhere - from laptop to car to home so charging them is not a problem. The only pain in the royal butt is topping them up as i tend to drip the liquid (this morning i have manged to ruin a perfectly decent tie !!)

Can I just ask if any of you who vape, do you carry them through airport checks?
would I be ok with one in my handbag at Heathrow and then coming through customs in Abu Dhabi?

Security guidelines state it has to be in your hang luggage not the hold. The UK are fine about them however what i do when i land in the UAE is put it in my pocket as your bag may go through the scanner again ( whereas you don't go through a scanner when you land) I know people who kept it in their bag, it was picked up by the scanners here and it was taken off them

So, IMO no problem at all. Just make sure you keep them is your hand luggage as lithium batteries are prohibited in the hold.

Re: E-Vape
Have been vaping coming up 2yrs in Dec and have flown through many countries. Always have my vape in my hand luggage as well as spare batteries and bottles of juice. Never had a single problem. Only once did the security guy at Heathrow question what my juice was (in an unmarked bottle) until he then saw the vape, then he was fine.
