Sine Rule
a/Sine A = b/Sine B = c/Sine C

a is the length opposite Angle A
b is the length opposite Angle B
c is the length opposite Angle C

As the sum of the angles is 180
180 - 120 = 60
60/2 = 30 (The Other Angles)

3/Sine 30 = 6
Thefore, length = 6 * Sine 120
=5.196
QED

I actually have an a level in maths.... however I believe yoru brain only holds so much information and you get rid of the stuff you dont use to allow room for new stuff- so all my maths stuff has been deleted to amke room for remembering how to switch ona computer etc...

Political Correctness has probably led to Trigonometry being removed from the curriculum, in case the 'Geometrically Challenged' find it too competitive.
