err well
fact : a bid for a major security overhaul project for the AD guys was told 'thankyou but we dont have the money we are at war right now'
it took 4 weeks just to make the bid so it wasnt small chips and the bidding people were approached by them to start with

Not so much the countries but the individuals. I've been writing for a regional bank recently and there has certainly been an increase in GCC nationals buying in more secure, developed property markets such as London.

"one of the world's pre-eminant engineering brains, the idea could be a possibility." Eminant? Is that a cross between Emirati and eminent? "could be a possibility"... double potential: does that make it twice as likely, or twice as unlikely? And the names involved read like something from a Douglas Adams script: Fortune (ok, he's just the dumb hack), Diamandis, Brogan Bambrogan, Elon Musk, Dirk Ahlborn... Then there's the hyperbole, non-sequitors and nonsense: mobile telecoms reinventing the world many times over; "You are completely managed by a computer - there is no human factor, which is the most common cause of accidents like this." (nobody mentioned accidents); coast in a frictionless environment (so the pumps are going to create a vacuum--really? And I doubt the train's going to coast...). I worked on the first operational maglev project, in Germany. Was interesting.
