Hey all

Still settling in here and need some first Thursday night advice pls

I'm here with a bunch od Aussies and we're looking for a happy hour that extends past 7pm, all the ones near here (Crowne Plaza area) seem to finish at 7 (as far as I'm aware) so by the time we get out of the sweat-shop they're almost over

All assistance in helping me out-booze my Antipodean compadres greatly appreciated

I finish work at 8 ish, so I am of no help at all. A lot of places do not have happy hour on thursday though.

I think the rotana has happy hour until 8? Check that though.

I looked online, no mention of happy hour but has about 6 different bars/cafes/lounges/bistros... why is it so confusing!

Its quiet usually. I was told the pool bar did a happy hour. I can't confirm this though. I might be able to let you know at about 5:30pm lol

If you go to west bay - Wahm in the W Hotel is HH until 8pm.

Rotana's pool bar is a bit naff to be honest. Wahm's always a good bet!

+1 for wahm. Theres also a bar on the ground floor of the hilton which does happy hour until 8pm. Cant remember the name of it but its quite good. Fairly chilled and not too busy

Krossroads in Horizon Manor (a 10Riyal taxi trip for you) has one until 8pm.

Ended up in Trader Vics Thursday, (which was good) some one said the Intercontinental was good to go to next...Apparently we picked the wrong Interc.. it was kack, only saving grace it had the footy on but it was a sheyt otherwise. All dudes for a start....
