A Dog IS just for Christmas!
Dear folks,
I need someone to take my pedigree Cavalier King Charles until the end of December.
He has had his injections back in June, But cannot fly until the end of December due to an elapsed time having to be served.
He is very well house trained, great with kids, and is happy to stay in all day, just needs a walk in the morning and one at night.
Please let me know if you can help
Many Thanks
JD

But when are you flying? It sounds possible that the volunteer dog-sitters may end up getting stuck with your dog for life if nobody is around to supervise his departure.

He has been staying with friends, but he and his family are now leaving Dubai, so need someone to take care of him for 6 weeks
To answer your question LH, no-one will be "stuck with him", as we have already paid all his fees and flights.

Just curious as to how the doggy will actually get through Immigration without his owners present. Who will pay for his board and lodging? Does he have an e-gate pass? Will he know how much to tip the taxi driver? Maybe I've been watching too many kiddy movies.

presumably the owners have paid someone like DKC to doe the export in which case you would just have to hand it over on the decided date.
As to the dog poo - don't feed it - nothing in - nohting out

Presumably you have by now found a home for your pooch.

Nope, but it was worth a try.
To answer other questions, all transport/fees and everything else has been paid for, and i would be happy to transfer money for dog food and expenses in advance.
I could even give you the details of the pet transport company that are shipping him in end of Dec.
So really, the only responsibility would have been to feed and walk him...then drop him at the Pet place in a few weeks.
