This is why i don't post much on here. This is a horrible thread i have to say. I actually think it's worse on here than EW, by far.
We have a house at home (rented out) and we have bought a house here to live in and i would NEVER slag off someones house and i wouldn't like it myself.
Commander, do you own a house? If so what and where is it? Lets see what you have spent your hard earned cash on.

i own 8 properties worldwide. They all are rented and my annual profit alone from these comes in at around $270,000 per annum. They have increased considerably in the 10 year period that i have bought (never in Dubai of course) and now i am sitting, if i was to sell up now, at around a profit of some 950,000USD.
Hey chesney, thanks for allowing me the opportunity to gloat though...

Well good on you but there is still no need to slag off other peoples houses. It's obviously just about making money for you but it's not the case for everyone. I don't see whats so bad about Dubai, i like it here. We intend to be here a good few years so what is so wrong with buying. There is NO NEED for it!!! I think you should apoloygise the the OP?
