For two years I drove about 65km daily on Salwa Road, C Ring at Al Saad out to Al Udeid airbase and back. No way I wanted to move further out so driving it was. I did 2 months in a buzzbox tin can then moved up to something a bit more sensible. Quality of life improved immeasurably. When it comes to living in that part of the World I feel its sometimes the little things that mean so much.

I think if everyday was a 5-10km drive around the city area today I would try and stay close to a metro station and make use of that.
