Designer Hand Bags
I was watching a programme on BBC TV about Fake Designer Handbags. It occurred to me that the only place I have aeen an OBSESSION with designer labels on anything was in Saudi. Main victims of the obsession were Thais and Filipinas. What is this with the (mainly female ?) obsession with Gucci and Vuiton ? Weird.

In reply to Northern Lad, I have lived and worked on three continents, over a working life of nearly 50 years.. I went to Newcastle once but did not like the beer.
I cannot see the relevance to my question about Designer Label Handbags. Do they have them in Newcastle ?

The problem with buying expensive handbags, is that you are then obliged to keep them for years and years to justify their initial expense.
I am obsessed with germs in handbags. They are filthy things. In spite of regularly cleaning mine with antibacterial products, I never keep a handbag for more than 6 months.
