Today....... he knocked out No 8 seed Andy Roddick on Saturday (leaving thousands of women with decidedly mixed feelings), and now has to play some unknown Pole who knocked out No 9 seed Gael Monfils.........

Coincidentally, I knocked out a few seeds in bed last night............

'Deliciano' has beaten that Polish bloke (to the undoubted delight of Andy Murray's mum) and he will now play....... er....... Andy Murray..........

Meanwhile the lovely Dominika Cibulkova has beaten the only marginally less lovely Number One seed Caroline Wozniacki, and will now play Maria Sharapova.....
