Credit Crunch?
Mashreq just rang offering me a credit card with 6 figure limit and no security cheque required?!?!
(My salary is credited to them though).
Very surprising.

They've tried about 10 times since I first applied for a credit card with them about 2 years ago with the limit getting higher and higher (as if that's an attraction). I bank with mashreq but my credit card is not with them.
When I first applied they wanted me to sign a security cheque. I told them I refuse to sign a blank cheque for you. Their reply was "but sir, we won't use it....it's just for security".
So why have it if you'll never use it?
I've never signed a security cheque for anthing...never will - certainly not in these lands.
