Was with a friend last night who had an iPhone4, or so he thought...
Lighter, thicker, smaller screen, lumpy interface, horrible icons, crap camera. Had all the Apple markings, though.
Beware, especially if your kids tell of you of a really good deal on an iPhone, payable in cash to Mr Wang with the tattoos...

My gaffer bought one in Thailand, it's got a retractable antenna for tv reception, lol.

My maid came home with one a year or so ago (I guess it was the iphone3). Physically a very good copy, but the software and battery life was utter shite. We bought one but thankfully managed to resell it on within a week. 250Dh.
If you take a wander around tourist club in AD you can get alsorts of fake phones - including a fake blackberries.

Not sure on the email functionality of the fakes. For sure they won't use RIM servers but if the tricky salesman shows you an email arriving on the phone you wouldn't know the difference anyway.
