Like what? Holding hands with my wife in public? Taking an elevator alone with 5 Emirati women? Getting into a car with a woman who was not my wife?
Or you mean murder? |

For some reason it wasn't the same guy taking the money as had sorted us wtih the shoes, and I pointed at both pairs of shoes and said I was paying for the two. I did repeat this a few times. On leaving the shop, I thought wow shoes here are cheaper than in UK and checked the receipt to see that we had only been charged for one pair. Suffice to say I did NOT go back to rectify the matter. I mean seriously how many times can you say, "Thats for two pairs, yes?". Sod em! Couple of days later went to Ikea and bought a couple of toothbrush mugs, and was only charged for one as they were stacked together. So turned from a totally honest never nicked a thing in my life person to a thieving git within hours of getting here. |

During the first week here we went to Clarks at MOE for sandals for the boys. Got them a pair each, which we put on them in the shop.
