Evian water is designer for water, would you buy Louis Vuitton Baked Beans for 10 times the price or how about Prada Peanuts, Ralph Lauren Leeks??

And if you do buy Evian water, just look at what it spells backwards!

White bread and margarine (separately or together). ****ing breakfast cereal also, what a waste of time, packaging, advertising, space and money. Whilst I'm on a roll, cheap lager, flacid wine, made-in-Buckingham-Palace shite Whisky (yes, I have seen it, in India) -- or any other shite whisky, Pernod (why? just why?), processed cheese (yeah, technically all cheese is processed, but I'd happily do a Borat "And what is theeeese?" session in an American supermarket), French ****ing breakfast which is just a gallon of ****ing coffee and an insipid croissant which Tesco's Finest can easily better, gravy granules, and non-Heinz beanz.

Reminds me of the UK back in the day when we all quaffed ale and weren't much into wine - apart from maybe Blue Nun and Mateus - and then the French launched a series of marketing drives which I found quite amusing. Every pub seemed to be stocking wine labelled Hirondelle.

I commented to one landlord that it was good of them to put instructions on the label.

I can taste the difference in some waters. Not all, but take Aquafina for example, it's ****ing horrid. Masafi is nice though.

Same. I like French water. Not as much as Highland Spring though. Quite like Masafi too.

Isn't Aquafina the one owned by Pepsi and is only filter tap water?

Aquafina is from the Al Quoz Spring.

I have Nestle at home, terrible stuff and I really should change the supplier - it's bitter. Nestle is also from the Al Quoz Spring.

A small bottle of the locally bottled water will cost me 1.50 QAR/AED. A similarly sized bottle of Evian will cost me 4.50 in the shops. So it's only three times more expensive, not ten.

Not all water taste the same. Evian has a very clean, rounded taste that does remind me of drinking from mountain springs. The best water I ever had was the water from the mountain streams and waterfalls in the New Zealand Alps (they don't recommend drinking in without purifying it in case there's a dead animal floating in the water further upstream but I took the risk and survived. You could practically get drunk on that water, that's how refreshing and pure it tasted.

Local water is either desalinated and / or has sodium added to it. Neither particularly bothers me but it does taste more metallic than the bottled imported spring water. I drink a mixture of Evian, the local water and Highland Springs. Prefer the European exports by a good margin.
