Steptoe and Son
The Champions
Some Mothers Do Have Em
Inspector Morse
The Darling Buds of May
Shoestring
Only Fools and Horses
The Professionals
Dr.Who
Black Adder
The Good Life
Dads Army
Man About The House
Bergerac
Last of the Summer Wine
Poirot
The Likely Lads
Wycliffe

What was that one with Wendy Craig as your typical mum trying to raise a family?
Any others spring to mind?

Are you sure, is that not a modern classic?

Angels and Casualty before it got taken over by the Eastenders crew.

Nobody has challenged LH on his inclusion of Last Of The Summer Wine......

......... so I will.

It is surely the least funny thing (that is meant to be funny) the BBC has ever foisted on its uncomplaining audience....... Northerner-patronising garbage with no funny lines or characters in it.

And as for the pre-recorded laughter soundtrack..........

Is it still on?

and don't forget the Young Ones and as for Last of the Summer Wine, its currently being shown on BBC Entertainment with a host of classic British actors now appearing, including June Whitfield and Eric Sykes. It has its own unique charm, especially the old geezer forever trying to sneak past his nagging wife to go cycling with the delectable Marina. Plenty of funny scenes and beautiful scenery.

Along with the Young Ones would also have to mention Spitting Images as mentioned in another thread and also Chros Tarrants OTT
