Default Christmas Presents

What do you want for Christmas if money was no object?

What do you want for Christmas if you were being sensible?

What do you think you'll get? Are you even bothered anymore given that most of you have seen 50+ Christmas Days already?

BritGeek is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Christmas Presents

1. A 3 week cruise round Asia/the Far East
2. Apple TV
3. I know I'll get nothing as were still recovering from the cost of setting up my daughter in an apartment and paying university fees

Mr BritGeek tried to palm off the new hoover bought last weekend as an early present

and no, after 45 christmases I don't really care about it much anymore. Christmas is just a booze up at Yalumba then back to work the next day

I got told off last night for just telling the mrs to go to Karama and buy herself some stuff and I'll pay, she can wrap it, she can open it. Decent size bollocking but deservedly so - lazy Scamp.

What I really want is to get rid of this 6 week long virus so I can feel better and do some exercises.

What do I think I'll get? Probably a nice necklace or bracelet, as Mr & Mini OSs are under orders.

Do I care? No, not really. As long as effort has been made, I don't.

PS I just went out and bought myself a laminating machine - very cool for kid related stuff.

I just don't care enough anymore, even though I have not seen 50+ Christmases!

I want a new sofa and a running machine, but I'll buy them myself.

1. A diamond tennis bracelet (pointless but I just fancy one). Or one of those sporty Mercs
2. An Ottolenghi cookbook
3. Not a clue. Possibly a voucher to a favourite day spa.

lalalayla - a laminating machine?!?!

I would love an Aston Martin and a solid white gold watch and new wedding ring with loads of diamonds to replace the one that was nicked.

Realistically I am getting an iPhone 4 and a new casserole dish (a cast iron one that I have wanted for ages and it's blue)

Not bothered to be honest with you it's more about my daughter than me.

I was talking to a friend of the missus last week and she suggested I get her one of these (for the wife, not the friend).

Any idea on where to go for one?

Gold and Diamond Park, I use a jeweller called Mamiya, the guy Tony gives a good discount to my friends so mention I sent you. If nothing suitable there then go to Cara.

A jewellery shop!

Cara in Gold & Diamond Park. You're talking AED 30k++ for something decent.
