I read that the trend in plastic surgery comes from youung chinese women's view on what beuaty is, and that when you look at all the individual details, and the full image, it's about Western beauty, not Chinese, and that they are trying to turn themselves into Westerners.

Could some of the guys argument be because of the changes she has made, that aren't attractive to him as male Chinese?

And I also know one Chinese lady (who is relatively attractive, IMHO) whose husband divorced her for being unnattractive. You've got to be some cold-hearted sonovabitch to actually say that to a woman, no matter what she may have done to you (and allegedly there were no particular issues in the marriage).
