I'm the kitchen dweller of the two of us, definitely the better cook and enjoy it more. HOWEVER, I get zero input to the 'look' of our kitchen. I originally had mine with all bright colourful shit everywhere, tea towels, pots, holders, plant pots, the works. Everything was bright and happy.

Now, it's beige, it's a bit frilly, it's white, it's got empty bottles and jars and stuff. "country kitchen" my arse, we live on the 25th floor!
