They go quickly in this heat. Mrs Spugsy hadn't had her jeep looked at for 15k miles and it broke down, guy came out and there was green acid frothing out of it.

My Jeep Cherokee has done 125K and has needed three batteries in its last six years.

Well that was a revelation!

AXA insurance sent out a different company to the one they sent 2 days ago to get my Jeep started. I thought I'd get some guy in a beat up Tiida and some jump leads - as that's what I got on Sunday. He didn't check anything, just got it started.

Nope, today I got the excellent Bashir (American) with great service plus exact replacement battery in the van plus a debit card machine. Job done quickly, professionally and friendly. Best service in Dubai - great job.

He checked the alternator which was fine.

Highly recommended.
