I think you're playing fast and loose with the term "homophobic" there. Most straight men are repulsed by the thought of man/man sex, and most turned on by lesbian sex. I think that's pretty much true regardless of whether someone has "fear and hatred" of homosexuals or not.

FWIW, I'm straight and don't worry about either. Each to their own. However, I have felt repulsion for the opposite gender, who have made a play [yes, Roger my 60 year old ex boss, i mean you and your sweaty, fat hands].
