Germany may not be highly represented in nos. The few have a strong voice. Selmayr who is known to be not Brit. friendly, and he is working close to Juncker, MEPs Brok, Weber just to name a few Germans. A few loud outspoken ones can achieve more than a large group (Brits) sitting quietly saying nothing just cry foul.
German influence is waning, Merkel is political history at home. Macron is the guy to watch out for.
Britain now has a chance to vote in the next EU elections. They can choose people who will do more than the present lot does for them e.g. oust the "German dominance".

Have you seen the Ukip Mep's in action ?

Have not seen them as I don't attend the EU parliament sesdions. Just read about them. Do you really think their rants impress anybody? To the contrary. Nothing but a laugh for the "huns".

Just reacting to your ''sitting quietly saying nothing''.
Those Ukippers make a lot of noise, and there were 24 of them.

Personally, I'm amazed that we're (potentially) taking part in EU Elections because we were all told vehemently through the campaign process that they're unelected bureaucrats in Brussels running our country and that we must take back control.

Two puppet parliaments, in thrall to the European Mafia Commission. That's where the irony lies.

The National Assembly for Wales, the Northern Ireland Assembly and the Scottish Parliament all have less power than the UK MEP's in the European Parliament, yet WM can't see the irony of wanting out of the EU, whilst being unwilling to allow the Scots etc to exit this Union.

Like I said after the Referendum, the most likely driver for Scottish Independence would not be the SNP, it would be the Tories and Labour...
