there were witnesses though...they saw a guy carrying a small girl, either 2 or 3 people i can't remember, including one of the mccann's friends...they thought it was a bit odd so late at night, but, as you would, moved on and forgot about it just presuming it was a father and daughter...

no, it couldn't have been gerry because he was with the others when his friend saw the guy...and each witness has described a man who looks like this paedophile who police are talking to now...other witnesses described the same man hanging round the apartment complex a couple of days previously...

thing is, until she's found, none of us will know...and each of us will just have to believe what we want...as i said, having seen them in this programme, i am totally convinced they weren't involved...

So there are no credible witnessess. There are possible sightings that could be anyone.

Also there was a pic on sky news website that has now been removed of a photo of the paedo against the artist impression from the friend from 2 years ago - very similar

The truth WILL come out eventually, it always does (unless it involves who shot Kennedy and 911 lol)

The McCanns will then either be deserving of a massive public apology from all the doubters or jailed for life..

This paedo thing for me is a promising lead, but also stinks of 'hey its been 2 years, we know this fiddler now was in the general area, let's up the hype and make a firm connection'

the timescale of all of this is worrying, and what happened to the guy who actually lived right near there at the time who was their main witness/suspect? it is like the case of that little American girl who was found dead and they do this day have never found her killer. Her parents were on Oprah too, the Mother has since died. The Father was cleared but I really am not so sure :(

Maybe it was someone who took their daughter with them for a drink and never left her in a room on her own, at the end of the day as previously said the Mcanns will live with this for the rest of their lives, but they did not just slip down to a bar of a hotel for a drink, they left the building, we all know how time lapses when you are out having a good time, and one thing for certain if they did go back to the room as they say they did as I recall, it would have been between courses, but they have lost a daughter for their actions, I am just truly amazed the marriage has held together because no doubt at some time one of them would have said to the other "I told you we shouldn't have left her, unless of course it was a regfular occurance, we will never know.

if they did it themselves, then that could be the reason they are still together...partners in crime so to speak...
but one day the 'weaker' parent will break down and start talking...it's only a matter of time...
