"A 47-year-old man from the North West has been arrested on suspicion of making a bomb hoax and remains in police custody for questioning."

Not your usual bombing suspect is he. I think it is clearly a case of too much booze on his way home. I know that the airlines have to be cautious and follow defined procedures in such cases (or they will get into trouble themselves) but really ! what has happened to common sense ?

Maybe he was stone cold sober and mighty convincing?

Nice to see the response was serious, with it being escorted by the military and hopefully the idiot will have the book thrown at him.

I think Qatar flights are dry, unless he has taken booze on board himself?

QR is not dry , plenty booze but the good thing is that at least QR got a flight that arrived on time .
