Big Gate

Re: Big Gate
Yes and yes, although nothing could induce me to go to Dreamland, even though they often have 'deals' on. Looks like a less classy Butlins and the sea looks foul.
Barracuda had a sweet deal on Kronenbourg 1664 beer last time I went, buy 3 cases at 80 each and get 1 free. 160 for 3 cases compared to MMI price of 120 for 1. Also if you blow over 1000 you get a free gift, some other kind of alcohol.
Can you tell I'm a sweatie?

Dreamland was better than expected when we first went.
Be prepared for some proper old skool grazes from the slides.

I went in 2003 - fantastic place... keep meaning to do back. When we went it was so quiet that they would switch the rides on for us. you'd get to the bottom and hear 'go again, Sir' - if you said no the ride was switched off again. It was brilliant. I felt like Michael Jackson for the day.

Re: Big Gate
Might head to Barracuda this weekend then.
Cue some story about a colleague's mate's mate who got stuck being bribed by some crazy locals to not call the police.

Re: Big Gate
Although a bit dated, it is still a good day out for the kids - mine prefer Dreamland to both Wild Wadi and Aquaventure (I think mainly due to the lack of queues).
I prefer it due to its proximity to Barracuda and the fact it is considerably cheaper than the Dubai ones to get in.

Careful scamp. My mate's dog's girlfriend's cleaner read on the internet that magic pixies steal your booze when you're driving really carefully on the Emirates Road through Sharjah.
