betty and boris...
...ok, my 5 year old put two ants (err..and named them betty and boris!) in one of those little insect pots yesterday, along with some leaves and sand...
well...this morning, the ants had gone...there's no way they could have escaped, but someone told me that ants sometimes eat themselves. This can't be right, can it...?? thought some of you sciency-types might know...
