Default Best fiction book series...

OK, rather than hijack another thread, what is the best fiction series you have read?

Think mine has to be the Empire series by Feist & Wurts. Pulls in characters from the Magician as well which was another great series.

Also like all Robin Hobb and David Gemmell. Actually, love most fantasy authors.

How long is a piece of string comes to mind. There are umpteen genres of fiction writing. It really depends on what you like.

Only the Forsyte Saga has yet surpassed Enid Blyton School stories. Bliss.

I'd forgotten about them. They were charmingly whimsical.

Personally I have yet to find anything to surpass this series of adventures written by Arthur Ransome and read with great pleasure during my childhood.

Only found the Feist books out here when borrowed some from hubbys boss. He has them all and really enjoyed them. Liked the Magician.

I also like the Narnia books (yes I know they are kids ones but I liked them!)
