Bastille Day Bombings
Once again a tragic event has occured by twisted people in the name of some version of a religion that probably is uncomprehensible to most sane human beings.
What confuses me though is already on facecrap people are covering there pictures with French flags, which is highly commendable, if you wish to show your support in that way. But what I find most interesting is that on the 3rd July over 250 people were killed in Baghdad and I did not see one Iraqi flag or post concerning that incident. Is that because we associate that area for these deeds and therefore feel differently reference the loss of life?? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_2...ghdad_bombings |

Katie Hopkins reacts to the Nice attacks | Daily Mail Online She does have a point, why do we wait, why don't we start imprisoning these people (like they do in the UK)? After all, we are, whether we like it or not, in a war. |

I know an Iraqi atheist who escaped to the US...he certainly mentioned it. And by showing solidarity with one attack it doesn't mean we don't care about ALL other attacks. Most people simply care more for things closer to home...it's human nature. This isn't a virtue signalling competitition. N. I agree with your point about closer to home means a bit more, but find it hard to understand hardly anyone mentioned it. A bit like the plight of the rohinga`s in Burma and Aung San Suu Kyi`s virtual silence on the matter! |
Re: Bastille Day Bombings
Aung San Suu Kyi will be alienated from her people if she speaks up for the Rohingas
you dont sit in a home for decades and then get some form of government and then blow it all away on such a puny issue as basic human rights and decency...pfft...cmon man! |

Quite a ridiculous story about some psychopath, I must say. I, for example, have met many women of different shades of colors, and wearing different fashions of shorts, but never did I wish to stab them for their dress. Though admittedly, the dark side of me in those encounters, have always wished if I could reach out to them and explore all the promised possible venues of pleasures, so that to have that burning earthly desire satisfied. I advice you, never wish to meet me in short.
