Re: Bahtatboy's Blubber-Slashing Blog
I didn't actually say I have a 38" waist--I can just about wear 38" trousers, but there's a bit of a muffin-top situation...And I have bigger boobs that most of the ladies who used to work for me in Japan. Not nice.

Usually I find people in the middle east get around the waist size problem by pulling your trousers further up your body until you arrive at a part with this circumference.
In most cases this seems to be just under the armpits, and you belt buckle lines up with your nipples.
But good luck
Give the full stats, weight, height, bmi etc

Anyway, full stats coming, if you must, although I don't consider BMI to be at all relevant (eg Johnny Wilkinson's obese, according to his BMI).

Ah yes the BMI argument, I will excuse you from BMI if you are a professional world class athlete, but I'd imagine they are reasonably valid for the other 99.999% of the population

I'd argue that 'reasonably' is probably a bit generous.

Re: Bahtatboy's Blubber-Slashing Blog
BMI is a guideline only, not a straight line in the sand. Usually people should be somewhat self aware but as most fool themselves about weight its a good tool to shock them into doing something about it.
Usually the ones arguing over it are the ones who don't accept that they are overweight.

but CV (also 3 times a week) will be done on an empty stomach first thing in the morning (a la Commander), with a shake straight afterwards but omitting the honey and oats (although I may wait an hour or so after CV before eating—any views on this?). And I like freshly-squeezed lemon: perks you up in the morning.
Will have one day off per week, but will try to keep it to one meal rather than a whole day.

This reminds me of my Dad who claims to be a 34" waist. I'd believe him if he wasn't 95Kg. He goes for the overhang...

BMI was 25 post kids, pre "o.m.f.g. is that me in the photo? I'm huge" moment.
Now 19.9, 6 months + change in diet + starting up exercising again, later.
