Bagpiper in Dubai???

Being Scottish, and obviously a font of information on all things Scottish in Dubai, I was asked over the weekend whether I knew of any pipers residing in Dubai.

I am sure there must be one or two, but does anyone have any contact details for one?

Yes lots. I know some from the caledonian society. One played at my wedding here in dubai. I will get his details and get back to you

Omani's possibly?? The Sultan down there got well into pipe bands while schooling in the UK and there was nothing better than looking out over Ruwi, listening to the radio as the pipes hour was played.....

likewise, bit of a family tradition....we all try the chanter and maybe 1 in a generation actually has any talent and goes on to the pipes
