The joys of summer have brought the smell of rubbish into my apartment. Apparently there is an air-leak from the rubbish shoot into my apartment. It's awful.

So... a few complaints to maintenance later, some shaking of heads and little done. I'm going to speak to the building owner tomorrow, but I'd also like to report it to the Public Health Authority to try and get a bit of action... anyone know how to do this?

I'm sure my eyes are watering from the smell right now.

Careful you don't do too good a job of fixing it, or they'll just leave it with a Millhouse bodge.

Dubai Municipality as suggested seems the most appropriate.

Maybe talk to Landlord too? Get them on it?

Well, on the brighter side, I've had their full team visit today - they are currently busying themselves by taking down the ceiling in my hallway in order to get enough access to fix the hole. They tried to fob me off at first with "sealing the garbage room" - and are now doing both.
