I don't think I've ever done that either. Weirdly, I don't find that as bad as kitchen stuff, definitely not as bad as a bed.

but they are covered by thick bedsheets.

Anyway I still think used clothes are the absolute worst, what with all the sweat, saliva, dead skin, hair and unmentionables that touch and intertwine with the threads. Gives me the shivers....

Many years back I watched not 1 but a few investigative News programs (American TV) on just how clean Hotel mattresses were . The investigators used UV light to expose human organic matter (semen, saliva, vaginal secretions, sweat) . Even top Hotels weren't clean.

So I wonder just how much Emirati and foreign DNA is rubbing against your body when you snuggle in under the sheets and switch on the tele:eek:

For next to skin items I would agree, no way would you buy used underwear, gag! But jackets, jumpers etc..........
