I'm with you on this, there isn't much to get over confident about, without Bell in the first test things could look alot different now.

The games in Aus in the Winter will be a struggle.

Pessimism, it's what makes us English.

You can also say without their debutants 08 we'd have hammered them etc. etc. The fact is you will sleays get good players playing some brilliant and some woeful innings. As a complete team we are head and shoulders above Australia, I just hope we don't get too cocky.
