Default Army rations around the world

From 11 countries anyway. See what the soldiers get to eat in the field.

You would usually only use this if you're away from a main base/big camp as it's very expensive having these types of individual rations.

Having lived on the US ones for a few days I can vouch for the effectiveness of just adding water and it heating up voila!
The one who ended up with the beef macaroni was always king btw and would trade in that for a lot of desserts. I remember plum cake or pudding being one of the desired ones

I've had American MREs (meals ready to eat) that the US Army used. It was many years ago but I recal there was a choice of Chicken or Beef or some other meat . The Chicken was the best tasting one, and weren't too bad if you dumped all the pepper and salt into it . There was Soda powder that was designed to be emptied into a canteen and shaken.

MRE's: Some of these were so awful, they were called 'Meals Refused By Eithiopians' Not as bad as Vietnam era scran though. Who would want to eat something called 'Beans and Mother*****ers'?
