Anyone know: Free Weights
anyone know where i can get a set of dumbbells, have to be either hexagonal or blocks, round no use to me.
I'd rather not use sand and sport as the likelyhood of getting ripped off is high, does anyone know of a specialist fitness/weightlifting shop

Go Sport at Ibn Battuta used to sell free weights but i ended up getting mine at Sand & Sport

There is a massive sports gear shop in Deira just down from Traders Hotel and near Oman Insurance...must be cheaper than IBM.

listen navy boy, a man who had to take his turn in the barrel has no room to talk
besides in a galaxy far far away in a time before dubai, i was a fit young man. cutting to the present I'm a fat unfit knack and khalas no more, need them as part of my hiit workout regime. bodyweight is fine but weighted hurts more...

If it's cheap you're after you could always try the sports shops in Dragonmart - no idea if they have flat-edged dumbells 'tho.
Err, if you were doing press-ups surely your hands would be on the ground???? What are you gonna do, put the weights on your back????
