So the war drums are beating, and it appears we may have a war on our hands this fall. Anyone concerned that a US-Iran war will spill over to the UAE, Saudi, or Bahrain and therefore are formulating contingency plans?

Just concerned that I go there with the family and then have to pack the bags shortly after. Or worse yet, get stuck over there unable to leave.

The plan is to work in the UAE servicing military aircraft. Don't know if the US-Iran war would spill over there, or if my work site would become a target for simply having US military hardware.

You are right I can imagine the Iranians will drop the first nuclear bomb on UAE and the second on Israel. Its good to have a back up plan

Not very good prospects ahead then. Go work in a soon-to-be-war zone, and returning home shortly as a result to find work in an economy in shambles. Makes things interesting indeed.

Can't imagine it is as bad as Iraq or Afghanistan. But yeah Lebanon is no Dubai. Be safe!

You can add Saudi to the list. They have so many targets to choose from.

Safest place to be in Riyadh is Kingdom tower. Any missiles programmed to destroy it will just sail harmlessly through the hole.
