Default Anyone for a cat?

I wanna go home. Kids need to start school at the beginning of October back in Brisbane. Have had over two years in the sandpit without a break and the only thing keeping us from booking our airfares home are a couple of cats my kids thought it might be nice to take in and start feeding. If you're capable of throwing out a couple of biscuits and a bit of water each day, let me know please.

Viva Brisvegas...

Its interesting being back. Its expensive, but on glorious winter day in Aus - you wont miss the sand for a second.

When you can pick up a telephone, make an appointment with a first class - highly educated doctor, who will listen to you and have your child seen within 60 minutes...you cant argue for a minute.

Yeah, I can't wait to get back. I know what you mean about the doctors, my son attends a couple of the outpatient clinics at the Royal Brisbane and The Mater and they're fully covered by Medicare and brilliant. I've had to take him to a guy here at the American Hospital who was a so called specialist who actually knew less about my son's condition than I did.

I just can't wait to see a blue sky and green trees and grass and be close enough walk to school and ballet on a beautiful winters day like the one you've had today.

You might be in for little bit of a shock though. Brisvegas is an enormous construction site at present. Bligh and Newman have gone mad building bridges tunnels and a new metro is in-utero. We can barely keep up with the work there. I'm spending 4 days a week there just trying to keep up with our client billing and requests for new transport studies and business cases.

Making up for a few years of inactivity under Beatty and Goss. Busy place to be right now.

Excellent news, my husband can hit up some of his old cronies as clients if things are booming (and he can go back out partying every Friday afternoon, it's driving me nuts having him home all the time). I thought things must have been going crazy there as I know a lot of families (not just Aussies) that have left Dubai bound for the lights of Brisvegas. I'm glad the tunnels and bridges are well under way, it was a real pain in the backside if there was an accident on the Gateway or something and no alternate route. One cat down, two to go. Coorparoo here I come!!!
