Yeah, I've been out of Britain for 16 years so it's a least that old. Still funny though.

I'm 1/4 American, 1/4 Scottish, 1/4 Anglo-Irish and 1/4 English.

Grew up in the south of England and the States.

1/4 American? Americans are multi-ethnic so you'll need to be a bit more specific before we can typecast you.

That said if you don't speak with one of the recognised accents of the British Isles you'll have trouble convincing anyone you are English, Scottish or Irish or whatever you're trying to be...

No it isn't (& I never said it was). It is owned by a friend of mine & he works for an entirely different newspaper. ;)
