No, but I lived in St. lucia for many years and my wife is from the island. I love det place so much and when they closed this project down it made me so angry. Because now it's just there like a big wound in the beautiful nature, and it is negative for the economy to have lost projects arund the island, there starting to be so many of them now that you have tiny goststowns all over. Another thing is that Le Paradis would have been a major developement on the east side of the island that really need more business. I said once to myself that if this island got the proper government that actually was there for the people the could have pulled themselves out of financial problems and become a rich country and people. But it needs guidence and strong people. I am from Norway, and believe me I do now how a well driven country works.
What I also do not understand is how the builders behind Le Paradis run out of money so fast. When you have a big developement like this you make sure the funding is there plus plus.
So I really hope it will be finished soon, but how i dont know. It would have been just a spectacular, beautiful place.
I still hope

They were funded by Clico which I think went bankrupt???? I don't think it was the developer.
