OVER 50's+ MOVING BACK TO THE UK - Part II

Re: OVER 50's & 60's MOVING BACK TO THE UK - Part II
For those of you movng back with dogs I thought this was interesting. I was talking to my niece today and she was telling me how she has to collect her dogs poops and put them in little blue bags then she has a small container she collects them in and I think it twice a month they have to be put into a red container and the council come round and collects them. If poops are found in your regular dustbin you can be fined. I will miss throwing mine into the forest
However little four pound dogs like mine could easily have their waste flushed down the loo if I end up being in a flat. They have ben raised on puppy/hospital pads.

After living in a condo in the U.S. with a dictatorial association, there's no way I will have anyone tell me what I can and can't do - unless I am totally incapacitated.

I don't think you can have pets in sheltered housing - or can you? I read about one place where you can take your existing pets but can't replace them when they die.

Like you, sheltered housing will probably not work for me. I would love to rent somewhere where they can run and play like here. We live in a gated community where there is a four dog limit. When I have had a litter or so in years past that had been well over the limit, my neighbors have loved the pups and would never have turned me in. Now I just have two.
