Well, closing should have been today. I was so happy. My little girls were booked to leave 4th December (staying in the same kennel as quarantine. Know the owners well). Had to cancel. My flight on 10th First Class a freebee from AA due to points saved also cancelled. Put the majority of my fine stuff in consignment store. House looks like "******* sh***) to quote Dame Judy Dench in Philomena :0) what next????? Will clear my stuff out and go forward. My ex can deal with the rest as he wants go stay here. I am so sad and confused.
Sorry to be a constant whiner. Gotta get home before 70 to get my drivers licence. Stressed.....To say the least.

I thought that once the sale contract was signed and the structural inspectors report was OK'd that buyers were not able to just pull out by whim.

So sorry to hear about your sale falling through. Since it happened on the day of closing, don't you have some leverage over the buyer since they pulled out at such a late stage. Keeping the deposit or something?

So I would say that a cool looking lady with a plan for a complete change in life at age 69 must have some self esteem even if she doesn't realise it

I hated the camping out part of selling the house, hope the CPA pulls the act together quickly and it's all on again soon.

Sorry if unclear....I meant enter UK on USA passport because time is very short and I most likely have to come back to sell car, get IRS sorted, Medicare, rehire movers, storage and generally settle things. Plus I'm truly getting cold feet over the whole thing knowing I can afford to purchase a house here but only rental there. Belfast is also experiencing some of things that made us move away in the first place.

I think that it's natural to get cold feet just before a big move. It's a big decision to make.
Just remember that there are reasons why you decided to move back home. Keep them in mind.

I stick by my statement. You are beautiful even though you can't see it right now. Be kinder to yourself.
