I've been reading your whole story, CS. No wonder you feel so unsure - it's been such a bumpy ride for you! The wobbly feelings are normal enough without everything you've been going through.

I'll be thinking of you and your little dogs, and watching as you post. And I'll be hoping you find some peace once you settle in at your brother's house. I kind of think it's only then you'll be able to sort your emotions completely. I'll be rooting for that happy circumstance to occur.

And just as some food for thought - I read your concerns over Belfast. Must it be Belfast, should you decide to stay? Would you consider another location in the North? Maybe Londonderry? We were there in the fall and the city seems to literally be undergoing a transformation. And my husband never had any complaints over Altnagelvin Hospital. Or Castlerock if you are seeking peace and quiet? I'd be more inclined to spend any extra dosh I had on a lovely home by the sea before I gave it to the US health system to cover what Medicare doesn't. Just some thoughts.....
