Wow Dukie, troll or not you really are a prize tw*t aren't you (pick a vowel, any vowel, I'm sure you will get the right one eventually:)).
No doubt your 'M8's' in Manchester will welcome you with open arms when you return and as long as you are still able to shout 'Big Issue' in your old stomping grounds you will always have enough cash for that next can of real english beer. have a bloody nice day! |
Re: Honest Advice from those returning from Canada
have you ever been out of Manchester to visit other parts of the UK ?

Re: Honest Advice from those returning from Canada
I find his strong affection for Manchester almost endearing if not misplaced.
Manchester used to be a bit of shit hole and the Northern drug capital. The Trafford centre he mentions was only built 10 years ago and as for the "great British curry" well - words fail me ! |

But i do know that their has been alot of renovation going on in Manchester........And Leeds is supposed to be the new hot spot:blink: And  as daft as it sounds " The Great British Curry" is pretty darn good haha. But hey!! One persons hell is anothers paradise.........;) |
Re: Honest Advice from those returning from Canada
Leeds is very hot at the moment and the town where I grew up is now one of the most expensive places to buy property.... Brighouse. It is close to all the cities and all motorways. All the old canal buildings are now super luxury apartments etc.
I'd never be able to afford to move back there - but I don't like beer or curry so that's not a perogative for me - lol. |

Prices are dropping now, all over slowly...........but it all depends where you want to be :) I'm in North Linc's and it suits me, known for cheaper property but know main city close by. Unless you want to nip over the Humber to Hull or drive 25 miles to Lincoln. |
