No doubt your 'M8's' in Manchester will welcome you with open arms when you return and as long as you are still able to shout 'Big Issue' in your old stomping grounds you will always have enough cash for that next can of real english beer.

why are you attacking me just becasue i dont like canada and prefer the UK way of life? i never called you any names so why attack me and call me names? i just speak the truth and people like you dont like it. a lot of other mancunians living in canada america australia etc have emailed me and agree with what i said but there to scared to tell the truth because people like you attack them. now i know its true. im honest i miss my life from the uk at least i was alive there and wasnt just working all the time for some pissant company and spending my free time doing nothing and going nowere. this place is crap, england has pubs you want to drink in and you can get proper food there. here you only got make believe pubs with pissy beer and mcdonalds or shitty tim hotons and ooo lets go and look at a big pile of rocks this weekend. why would anybody want to stay in canada if theyve been to the uk? i feel sorry for you. but maybe where you came from in the uk is a big slum and you are better off in canada. you should visit manchester somtime to see a real world class city with freindly people the best pubs beer and curry houses in the world and m/cr city to. much more than canada got.

have a bloody nice day!

why would i want to manchester got everything. trafford centre biggest shopping centre in the world. curry mile in rushome best curry in the world. m/cr city best football team in the world now richest to and the worlds best pubs and beer. even the wheather in manchester is good. here its hot in the summer and bloody cold in the winter. in manchester its mild all year round with no snow either. also got very friendly people with good sense of humour peter kay funniest comedian ever. famous tv shows shamless and royal family made there. great music oasis the smiths. fantastic clubs open all nite. great girls who can hold there drink and are fun to be with and like a good joke and are like your m8s. girls very narrow minded in canada and stuck up. lots of rich footballers live near manchester becasue its so great. people have rights at work. cant be threatened or fired for having a day or two off every now and then. uk have better benefit system than canada which doesnt have any. my old man hurt his back at work about 15 years ago and he cant work anymore according to the doctor. but he still gets enough money to afford to go out for a few pints and a curry. manchester and wythenshawe the greatest places in the world to be. lots of live pub entertainment there and things to do. even the cops dont hassle you as much as here especially if you have a house party. no tolerence for others here. always have to have rules here to stop you enjoying yourselves. in alexandra park have a great caribean festival and nobody cares if you have a few cans with your m8s and enjoy yourselves. try that here and the cops will be on you like a ton of bricks and take your beer away. yes they can do that here!! very backwards want everybody not to enjoy life becaues they dont. never leave manchester again once im back.

Sorry but I had to bite here.....I thought that West Edmonton Mall was the world's largest shopping mall but it seems it has been overtaken by others, although where is the Trafford Centre on this list of the World's Largest shopping malls???

I find his strong affection for Manchester almost endearing if not misplaced.
Manchester used to be a bit of shit hole and the Northern drug capital.

The Trafford centre he mentions was only built 10 years ago and as for the "great British curry" well - words fail me !

I think the shopping centre at New Castle is bigger then the trafford....but i'm only saying that on hear-say, i've not actually been to either.

But i do know that their has been alot of renovation going on in Manchester........And Leeds is supposed to be the new hot spot:blink:

And  as daft as it sounds " The Great British Curry" is pretty darn good haha.
But hey!! One persons hell is anothers paradise.........;)

Leeds is very hot at the moment and the town where I grew up is now one of the most expensive places to buy property.... Brighouse. It is close to all the cities and all motorways. All the old canal buildings are now super luxury apartments etc.

I'd never be able to afford to move back there - but I don't like beer or curry so that's not a perogative for me - lol.

I dont like Beer......but a good curry Chinese or Indian was not to be found where i was living in Canada......they had them but very different to the ones in the UK.

Prices are dropping now, all over slowly...........but it all depends where you want to be :) I'm in North Linc's and it suits me, known for cheaper property but know main city close by. Unless you want to nip over the Humber to Hull or drive 25 miles to Lincoln.
