Hi everyone! just to let you know we both made it safe and sound. Puppy dog was not happy to fly but she made it in one piece and is now one happy dog, exploring all the new places and smells. We've been very lucky that the weather has been amazing since we landed so plenty of time outside enjoying the lush green landscape. So far so good and feeling happy to be home, although I know I am still in vacation mode.

Excellent! Back to the thread title, fight day, it seems to be the worst black fly season for many years here in the north country. Oh and the deer flies and skeeters are beginning to get into the act. Oh to be in England!!

Whereabouts are you in Northern NY State? I ask because I hosted a guest lecturer on Friday from Clarkson University in Potsdam NY. When I google mapped Potsdam I was amazed to discover that it's a good 100 km north of Toronto.

No black flies here. :thumbup:

That's great news!!!! How is your dog adapting to the British pet food?

That's wonderful. It is a concern I have for my dogs. They are quite picky about what they eat. ;)
