I'm heading over for a short trip tomorrow. I'm always amazed at how good I feel back there and dread the slump I'll go into coming back

I'm wondering when the time will come that I realise I can get these items at any time and not be stocking the fridge or pantry with the deliciousness that is British food

I'm back living in UK for good now, I've been back just over a week and am still going into supermarkets with the mindset that I'm on limited time here and need to buy all kinds of pies, quiches, sweets, biscuits, chocolate, cream cakes etc etc etc.

It takes three weeks to form a new habit; however, with such a huge move as going to another country, even if it is our own, I would think about 2-3 months.

I have even been a complete wannabe and lurked the online sites for the UK supermarkets to see what's there...
But, what I want to know is... if you've checked out the supermarkets online, are there still surprises?Does the real supermarket experience exceed that of the virtual one?
