Cash only world

Re: Cash only world
I like to use cash whenever possible, but I don't think I could get by easily without my debit card and cheque book.
I thought I had left cheque books behind many years ago in Australia, but in the UK there isn't the BPay system which I used most of the time, and really do miss.

Re: Cash only world
I just looked at my cheque book stubs and the last cheque I wrote was almost a year ago (March last year) for ski rental gear for my son... that's a very informal place and she's not set up to take card payments, but I bet if I asked her I could do a transfer online to her bank.

Standing orders. Easier to set up than friggin' cancel. Grrrrrrrr.
Moan over.
I'd prefer a cash free society, but I'm not sure everyone could manage their financial affairs without actually having the 'reddies' in their hand.
