Arrived in Southampton this morning and what a glorious day. The sun even made its way up to Scotland and it is a lovely sunny evening here in the Scottish Borders.

The trip was fab and we met some really nice people. I would highly recommend it.:)

Congratulations! Sunshine should be with us for another couple of days, enjoy

I have only just had the chance to catch up with this thread. We made it back! The QM2 was fantastic, thumbs up from all members of the family. Our kids particularly enjoyed the Juilliard workshops. We have had a brilliant day catching up with family - both my parents, my father inlaw and brother in law all came to Southampton to meet us, and we've also seen my brother and sister and their respective families today. What a crazy few weeks we have had! We're staying in my sister's house while she is on holiday ( she left this afternoon, perfect timing)and then we will camp out in our house until our container shipment arrives. I can't describe how happy I am to be with family and to know that it is not just for a short visit.
The QM2 was truly a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

I'm so excited to finally post this!!!

Leaving this Friday on flight Delta 38 (I think I may have the wrong flight number- blast. Such a noob at this) departing from Atlanta GA at 8:50pm and arriving in London at 10:15am woohooo!

Edit: have checked flight number, it still says Delta 38, so I assume that is correct. Hopefully uncles will know...

Good luck Tel8 - we/ I will be thinking of you. Taken that flight enough over the years. I busy trying to plan my Xmas flights in the Uk but cannot bring myself to buy as I really really want to be on a one way flight/ or cruise :)

Smile and be at peace no matter what travelling issues arise. Your going to be where you want to be.
