Bah humbug
Turns out my collarbone has not healed at all and is still completely broken Which I kind of guessed judging by the bloody great lump on my shoulder and the pain!
Have to go in for surgery on June 2nd and have the thing broken again (in a slightly more precise manner ) and have a titanium plate screwed in placed. Will be in for 3 days.
Got a 3hr exam tomorrow as well. I've applied for 'special consideration' (and a Blue Peter badge)

[But sorry to hear it - I had a broken collar bone once and know all about that lovely grating feeling]

Ow, bah humbug indeed! I'd be saying far worse than that. I hope the op relieves the pain and that it heals properly this time.
Good luck with the assessment too!

You're a smart guy, you will do just fine!
Sorry to hear about the shoulder. Hang in there. I know its horrible tolerating all this back luck, but it has to come to an end sometime.

Good luck. Everything for a reason eh? Maybe it's someone up there suggesting you need a rest.

Re: Bah humbug
What a fizzer!
Just a quick update, after getting all gowned up and pre-op checks done and saying an emotional tara to Mrs Triboy my operation was cancelled last minute due to a lack of beds!
They did offer me a sandwich though
Three others got sent home as well. Useless, why they couldn't work out they didn't have enough beds in the preceeding 2hrs is beyond me, but then why should I expect more out of the Aussies.

The same thing happened to OH with his gallstones. He was in the bed ready to go down and was kicked out!
