I was currenty in the u.s.a on a j1 visa, woking at a camp. There was some confusion and I overstayed my visa by 7 days. What kind of penalties can I face for this. What would I have to do to clear my name.

I am not an attorney or anything like that, but a 7 day overstay by itself should not carry any penalties.
