Hi all! I'm looking for some assistance regarding the new ICFN (Identity cards for foreign nationals) A friend has applied for this card for his Thai wife in December as part of her visa renewal and whilst this has been granted he has yet to receive the card.

He cannot get through to the UK Border Agency department that is dealing with this and on the odd occasion that they do answer the phone, he is told that there is a delay!

His wife is urgently wanting to travel back to Thailand to help with a family issue but she has to show this card at the Airport!

Has anyone else had this same problem and what did you do to resolve it? Hopefully there is some way to expedite matters as this is getting ridiculous.
